Collection of Investor Information
BAM collects personal information about its Investors from the following sources:
1. Subscription forms, investor questionnaires, account forms, and other information provided by the Investors in writing, in person, by telephone, electronically or by any other means. This information includes name, address, nationality, employment information, and financial and investment qualifications;
2. Transactions within each Fund, including account balances, investments, withdrawals/redemptions and fees; or
3. Other interactions with BAM (for example, discussions with our staff).
Disclosure of Nonpublic Personal Information
BAM does not share any information about Investors with nonaffiliated third parties, except that such information may be disclosed as necessary to process an Investor's subscription to a Fund, to the extent the Investor specifically authorized the disclosure, to service providers or joint marketers who agree to limit their use of such information, to the extent required in connection with an investment or transaction the Fund proposes to make, in connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, or transfer of all or a portion of the business and to the extent required or specifically permitted by law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions or liability.
