Kevin Byrne
Chief Operating Officer
Kevin Byrne is Chief Operating Officer at Balyasny Asset Management (BAM), overseeing the firm’s global business functions, including Communications, Corporate Services, Corporate Strategy, Data Science & Applied AI, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Operations, People Team, Real Estate, Tax, Technology, and Treasury. Based in New York, Kevin reports directly to the firm’s leadership.
Kevin joined BAM from Millennium, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and played a key role in guiding the firm’s growth for ten years. Prior to Millennium, Kevin spent more than a decade at Goldman Sachs in a variety of senior roles across finance, treasury, operations, and technology, including serving as Chief Financial Officer of GS Bank USA. Earlier in his career, Kevin was Chief Financial Officer of Lehman Brothers.
Kevin holds a degree in Business and Finance from Dublin Institute of Technology and is a Chartered Accountant, having completed his studies at Dublin Business School.
