BAM is continuing to grow its footprint globally, with expanded presence across Asia and the Middle East. In recent months we have welcomed industry leaders Tarek Rizk and Archana Parekh to lead our presence in these priority markets.
Tarek Rizk to Lead MENA
Tarek Rizk has joined BAM as Head of MENA, based out of our new Dubai office. Tarek will spearhead our expansion in the Middle East, an area rapidly becoming a global hub for investment talent.
Tarek brings with him a wealth of experience from his ten-year stint at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), one of the world’s premier sovereign wealth funds. There, he served as Global Head of Alternative Investments, and before that, as Head of Systematic and Global Macro Funds. Tarek also boasts impressive tenure with Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he acted as Co-Sector Head of Tactical Trading and as a Partner at Tages Group.
Archana Parekh Heads Asia Equities ex Japan
Adding to our cadre of experienced leaders, we are thrilled to have Archana Parekh onboard as the Head of Asia Equities ex Japan, based out of our Singapore office.
Archana transitions from her successful stint as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Millennium, where she covered the Global TMT and Financials sectors. Her vast experience also encompasses roles at Seatown Holdings and Temasek Holdings.
In addition, Archana serves on the Board of Trustees for multiple prestigious institutions including Stanford University's GSB Trust, the Singapore American School, 100 Women in Finance, United Women Singapore, and U Go.
