Anthem is Balyasny Asset Management’s structured program designed to transform high-performing senior analysts into successful portfolio managers (PMs). Over a 12-to-24-month period, analysts pursue a tailored curriculum.
Mentorship and Guidance
Throughout the program, participants receive guidance from seasoned investment staff on how to navigate the rewards and challenges of the PM role, from building high-performing teams to managing risk.

Building Teams
Anthem PMs are empowered to build their own teams, typically hiring two analysts early in the program. This hands-on experience allows them to shape their team’s structure and culture from the ground up.
