Anna Gietl started at Balyasny as an intern in 2022 and returned the following year as part of our Technology Academy. Today she is a full-time engineer on the Equity PCA Technology team in Chicago, where she develops quantitative equity strategy solutions.

Rotations to find the right placement

As a participant in our Technology Academy, Anna spent her first year as a full-time employee at BAM working on four different technology teams. This rotational program allows early career technologists find the placement that best matches their skills and interests. “It was great to have an opportunity to try different things out and see what I liked,” said Anna.
