Taylor O’Malley is chairman of Balyasny Asset Management (BAM), which he co-founded in 2001. Taylor is a member of the Investment Committee. As chairman, Taylor focuses on leadership development at the firm, senior recruiting, and leading select strategic initiatives.

Before BAM, Taylor was a consultant at Luminant Worldwide, and at Deloitte. He is a trustee for Loyola University of Chicago and a board member for A Better Chicago, a venture philanthropy fund dedicated to helping children escape poverty. Taylor has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago.
