We are excited to announce the launch of our new career development and recognition initiative, The Empowered Leadership Program. This exclusive program aims to recognize future leaders within our organization and provides them with the tools to continue strengthening their skills and accelerating their readiness as a BAM leader. This robust six-month program will focus on enhancing leadership and communication skills, providing exposure to strategic directions of the business, and amplifying participant’s network with other colleagues and senior management across departments and locations – all while elevating their profile internally.
The Empowered Leadership Program develops rising individuals by combining a vigorous in-person program and virtual curriculum that incorporates the values of our culture. The program kicked off its inaugural year in West Point, NY with an in-person Leadership Development Journey led by Thayer Leadership, a premier executive leader development organization. The participants were immersed in a 3-day onsite experience completing various mental and physical training sessions. In addition, they participated in team building exercises, leadership sessions, and attended a keynote speaker session.
The remainder of the program will focus on implementing in practice what participants learned during their time at West Point. Participants will also receive individual coaching sessions, in-person executive presence training, and additional virtual leadership training focusing on active listening, providing effective feedback, empathetic leadership, and emotional intelligence.
The Empowered Leadership Program will conclude with an in-person ceremony honoring the individuals and acknowledging the tremendous effort and hard work that has been contributed over the past six months.
