Fraudulent Schemes Warning

In an ever-evolving technological landscape, cybercriminals are becoming increasingly sophisticated – deterring them requires vigilance and caution.

Please be alert to scams and frauds that leverage use of names, identifiers, and trademarks when soliciting sensitive personal or financial information. These schemes include participation in instant message chat groups (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat) or third-party applications.

At times, such schemes involve fraudulent websites, email addresses, third-party applications, social media profiles, and instant messaging chat groups claiming to have ties to BAM, its employees, affiliates, or counterparties. Such activity is illegal, and unaffiliated with BAM. If you become aware of such schemes, please immediately contact BAM at Legal@Bamfunds.com. If you believe you are the victim of a scam or fraud, please also immediately contact law enforcement and/or relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., the United States Federal Trade Commission).

We encourage you to stay up-to-date with fraud awareness resources published by relevant authorities (e.g., the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United Kingdom National Cyber Security Centre) and investor warning/alert lists maintained by relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Securities Commission of Malaysia).
