The new partners are:
Mayank Chamadia, Portfolio Manager & Head of New York Macro – Joined 2013
Mayank has been a key member of our Macro business in NYC for nearly a decade. In that time, he has been an extremely consistent producer and contributor in building the business. Always humble and supportive, he constantly works to make everyone around him better.
Steve Goldberg, Global Head of Macro – Joined 2021
Steve joined BAM Greenwich to build a multibillion-dollar Macro business and he is well on his way. The macro space can be incredibly volatile, but Steve has been a consummate partner balancing short term tactics with an unwavering focus on building the optimal long-term strategy. He has been instrumental in attracting talent, partnering with our business teams to build an outstanding infrastructure, and developing junior talent. Steve is an insightful and valuable member of our investment committee. He is also a reflective and unemotional trader, always intellectually curious and keen to improve his own process.
Jay Hew, Portfolio Manager & Head of Asia Macro – Joined 2017
Jay joined BAM to run an Asia Macro team in Singapore. He has developed from a talented stand-alone trader to a team leader and head of our Asia Macro business. Jay has been a high Sharpe producer while consistently growing his capital and team. We are trying hard to clone him! Under Jay’s leadership, our Asia Macro business has grown from next to nothing to a real firm contributor with seven teams.
David Levary, Portfolio Manager – Joined 2019
David has been a top producing Macro PM in Miami since joining BAM in 2019. He is constantly refining his process, building his team, and relentlessly focused on improving. David has built out a top team and continues to elevate our Macro business through his team’s production as well as constantly contributing ideas to the broader business.
Patrick Staub, Portfolio Manager – Joined 2018
Patrick is a top performing Industrials PM in Miami, who joined as an Anthem PM. After having some good initial results, he faced considerable turbulence in his portfolio during the first half of 2020. Persevering, he improved his portfolio construction and investing process, finishing the year as one of our top PMs. He has followed up with very strong performance every year since. Patrick has built out a very strong, growing team and is a key contributor to the broader Equites business – mentoring Anthem PMs, analysts, and others.
Caesar Yuan, Portfolio Manager – Joined 2018
Caesar joined us in 2018 in London as a Macro trader, and he immediately began developing a differentiated base from which to trade. He has grown into a top producer in London. He is a huge advocate for the firm, always helping with recruiting and has been a critical part of our successful growth in London.
Chris Weltzer, Portfolio Manager – Joined 2018
Chris is an Industrials PM and Head of our Chicago office. He has been a top performer, steadily building his team, vol, and coverage while always working to improve his process. Chris has been a great partner from the day he joined – always trying to make the firm better and actively collaborating across sectors and strategies. He is a valuable contributor to our weekly PM calls and PM development sessions.
